More than just a value, diversity is the force that fuels innovation, equity, and connection in an ever-changing world.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\">Based on this premise, and after years of accumulating knowledge and experience in client projects that challenged us to rethink organizational cultures, we took a series of steps to promote diversity &#8220;in-house&#8221;: we created our own DE&amp;I program, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">EloGroup+<\/span>; developed a program for attracting and nurturing underrepresented talent, Potencializando Talentos (Empowering Talents); established a robust governance model with Diversity Committees and Affinity Groups; set representation goals for women and Black individuals, both in the overall workforce and in leadership positions; and were twice awarded for implementing our parenthood program, EloFamily.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\"><strong>Now, we take a new step in this journey: we have launched Mut\u00fcnci, a spin-off dedicated exclusively to accelerating diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"break-words\">In this article, we will explore the context that led us to this initiative, our unique approach to action, and the results we are ready to co-create with our partners.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef4ffe4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ef4ffe4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Why Mut\u00fcnci <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-646d1881 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"646d1881\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div><p class=\"break-words\">We live in an era where diversity, equity, and inclusion have ceased to be mere ideals and <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/elogroup.com\/en\/elogroups-diversity-and-inclusion\/\">have become strategic pillars for organizational success<\/a><\/span>. In a constantly changing world\u2014marked by technological advances, globalization, and new social expectations\u2014companies face the challenge of creating cultures that not only embrace plurality but transform it into a competitive advantage.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\">In recent years, a series of studies has demonstrated that diverse and inclusive companies have achieved significant strategic gains: organizations with low or no racial and gender diversity are <strong>27% less likely to achieve better financial performance<\/strong> than their peers, according to McKinsey (2020). On the other hand, companies with above-average diversity in their management teams report <strong>19% higher innovation revenue<\/strong>, as per BCG (2018). Additionally, <strong>71% of young people specifically seek out diversity when applying for jobs<\/strong>, reveals Thought Exchange (2022), while <strong>69% of companies state that DE&amp;I initiatives have increased professional retention<\/strong>, according to Deloitte (2021). These figures reinforce that diversity is a driver of innovation, talent attraction and retention, and financial performance.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\">Challenges, however, remain. Structural barriers, such as outdated processes and unconscious biases, still limit diversity\u2019s potential, while the demand for inclusive environments grows among a diverse workforce and stakeholders attuned to social responsibility.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/elogroup.com\/en\/insights\/dei-insights-for-structuring\/\">Our experience in projects with clients<\/a><\/span> has shown that investing in DE&amp;I delivers significant benefits not only for employees but for the business itself. This pillar maps the organization\u2019s demographic makeup\u2014such as race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and generation\u2014providing a clear view of existing plurality and identifying opportunities for expansion.<\/li><li class=\"break-words\"><strong>Employee Experience:<\/strong> We explore perceptions of inclusion among diverse groups across various dimensions, capturing how people feel about belonging, freedom of expression, and psychological safety in the workplace. This pillar uncovers insights into satisfaction levels and barriers faced, guiding actions to foster a more inclusive culture.<\/li><li class=\"break-words\"><strong>DE&amp;I Maturity:<\/strong> We analyze the organization\u2019s current capacity to generate value in DE&amp;I across directional, enabling, and impact pillars, evaluating the development level of policies, processes, and initiatives. This pillar identifies the organization\u2019s maturity stage, highlighting strengths and gaps that need attention to advance equity and inclusion.<\/li><li class=\"break-words\"><strong>Organizational Vision:<\/strong> We identify the organization\u2019s strategic guidelines as well as people\u2019s views on DE&amp;I and its connection to the organization. With over 10 years of experience as an educator and consultant, Gabriel brings a robust track record in the field, working on topics such as human rights, racial issues, and masculinities, and impacting more than 30 clients with transformative solutions.<\/p><p class=\"break-words\">A Law graduate from the Franca Law School, Gabriel is also a DE&amp;I specialist certified by PUC\/SP, with additional training from Aberje, Miami Ad School, and in Human Rights from PUC\/RS.
